A Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA) meeting was held in Atomri Community as part of ongoing efforts to promote women’s empowerment, financial inclusion, and sustainable livelihoods. All participants were present and actively engaged throughout the meeting.
The session provided a platform for women to strengthen their culture of saving, access small loans, support one another, and build greater financial independence through collective action. The VSLA approach enables members to mobilize their own resources while developing financial management skills and supporting income-generating activities.
Through initiatives such as this, HAND-IN-HAND EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVE continues to support women and communities in building resilience, improving livelihoods, and creating opportunities for sustainable economic empowerment.
