Hand-in-Hand Empowerment Initiative (H-in-H) is a non-profit organization committed to “…Putting community first” through education, health, livelihood, and humanitarian programs that empower individuals and strengthen communities.
Our Programs
Through our projects, H-in-H empowers communities with skills in tailoring and poultry farming, supports farmers with improved potato practices, promotes maternal and child health with mosquito nets and mama kits, and advances environmental stewardship through tree planting and climate action.
Health Initiatives
In recognition of World Mosquito Day, we distributed mosquito nets to expectant mothers attending antenatal care, contributing to malaria prevention efforts.
Vocational Training
We conducted training sessions in poultry farming and tailoring, equipping participants with essential skills
Agricultural Initiatives
Our potato farming training provided community members with knowledge of improved agricultural practices
Our Projects
Hand-in-Hand Empowerment Initiative (H-in-H) implements community-focused projects that build skills, improve health, and protect the environment.
Our vocational trainings in poultry farming and tailoring have equipped participants with practical skills, with graduates receiving sewing machines to start small businesses. Through agricultural initiatives, we train farmers on improved potato and sweet potato farming, promoting food security and nutrition. In healthcare, we support mothers by distributing mosquito nets, mama kits, and raising awareness on disease prevention. We also engage in environmental stewardship through tree planting campaigns to combat climate change and promote greener communities.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
H-in-H aims to improve lives by expanding access to quality education, ensuring inclusive opportunities for girls and children with disabilities, and strengthening healthcare systems through community health centers, maternal and child health programs, and disease prevention awareness.
We also promote environmental sustainability with reforestation, clean water, and sanitation initiatives, while empowering communities economically through vocational training, microfinance support, and market linkages that boost entrepreneurship and local livelihoods.
